Human Relations Council


Mission Statement of the Human Relations Council

  • To promote social and economic equality in the community, working with Local Government and other resources
  • To appreciate the cultural and ethnic diversity of the citizens of Washington and Beaufort County
  • To encourage citizens to live and work together in harmony and mutual respect

One task of the Human Relation Council is to investigate complaints about actions, activities and other matters that undermine the goals of the above Mission Statement. Complaints should be submitted in writing using the Washington Human Relations Council Complaint Form (click here for a printable version of the form).
