I have read and understand and agree to abide by the policies of Brown Library regarding use of its INTERNET resources.

I acknowledge and understand that the INTERNET is an unregulated computer/electronic information medium and that some material found on the INTERNET may be controversial, offensive, or harmful in nature.

The undersigned user (or parent/guardian if user is under 18 years of age) seeks to use Brown Library's INTERNET resources. In consideration for use of Brown Library's INTERNET resources, the undersigned agrees to assume all responsibility for any use made of said resources and agrees that Brown Library, its officers, agents, and employees are not responsible or liable for damages arising from or in consideration with said use or from information derived from said use.

By way of additional consideration, the undersigned further acknowledges that Brown Library assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to user's equipment or data or for any damage or injury sustained from invasion of privacy in the user's computer accounts, programs, or files and agrees that Brown Library, its officers, agents, and employees are not responsible or liable in the event of such damages or injury.
