Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Fire-Rescue-EMS is to support the efforts of our City and surrounding communities through education, prevention, enforcement and mitigation in order to minimize the loss of life and property due to medical emergencies, fire, disaster and other situations which adversely impact our quality of life.

General Information
The Department's three divisions:
Operations/Training, Fire Marshal/Public Fire and Life Safety Education,
and Volunteer Support, consist of Career and volunteer personnel providing a variety of services which include the following:
- Firefighting
- Emergency Medical Services
- Public Fire and Life Safety Education
- Fire Marshal
- Fire-Rescue-EMS Training
