A. Major Works, Certificate
of Appropriateness
1. A request has been made
by Mr. Jim Fortescue for a Certificate of Appropriateness to remove
a large Magnolia tree in the front of the property located at 226
East Main Street. The removal of the tree is being requested because
of structural damage it is causing to the house.
2. A request has been made
by Mr. Chris Collier for a Certificate of Appropriateness to construct
the following exterior alterations: (1) add a doorway and façade
to north side of building, (2) add a doorway and façade to
south side of the building, (3) add 2 balconies, (4) open up and glass-in
breezeway with French balcony, (5) remove old fire escape and replace
with external staircase, and (6) replace flat roof with like material
at the property located at 120 Washington Street.
3. A request has been made
by Mr. Marvin Maune, acting as agent for Progress Partners LLC, for
a Certificate of Appropriateness for the renovation and the development
of the Louise Hotel property located at 163 West Main Street.
B. Minor Works
1. A request has been made
and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr.
Daniel Mallison to replace 2.5 ton gas pack at the rear of the structure
located at 410 East 2nd Street.
2. A request has been made
and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for York
International to install new air handlers and condensers on the roof
of Family Dollar located at 307 North Market Street.
3. A request has been made
and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr.
Ralph Dramstad to repair and replace damaged awnings and awning frames
on the structure located at 258 West Main Street.
4. A request has been made
and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr.
Gary Tomasulo to repoint bricks, replace gutters and paint building
located at 126-128 West Main Street.
