1. The George Little Inn at Washington approval of the changes requested by the NC State Historic Preservation Office.

V. New Business

A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Mr. Charles Major for a Certificate of Appropriateness to; (1) replace all the aluminum frame screens with wooden ones, (2) repair all the original double hung windows and replace all broken panes, and (3) repair all wooden storm shutters and replace missing one with new shutters on the structure located at 404 West Main Street.

2. A request has been made by Ms. Lucy Grist, agent for Fletcher Family Properties, for a Certificate of Appropriateness to (1) replace existing doors on the side of the building to match previously approved doors on the store front, (2) erect canvass style awning over the new doors and (3) rebuild the tin cornices on the building located at 100 West Main Street.

3. A request has been made by Mr. Thomas Colley for a Certificate of Appropriateness to remove and replace existing tin roof with appropriate architectural shingles on the structure located at 523 East 2nd Street.

4. A request has been made by Mr. John Lohman for a Certificate of Appropriateness to remove and replace existing tin roof with appropriate architectural shingles on the structure located at 314 East 2nd Street.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Homer Wallace to replace the existing rotten wood columns on the front porch with the same style columns and the same material on the structure located at 323 N. Harvey Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Charles Major to replace the missing or damaged pickets with wooden duplicates and repair all the working gates on the property located at 404 West Main Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. John Podrecca to repair the existing chimney with the existing bricks and same dimensions on the structure located at 428 East 2nd Street.
